To get the pistol in Sons of the Forest, check out the GPS locators on the western coast of the island. Look for a raft marked by a GPS locator and a dead body offshore of the beach.

The pistol can be found on top of a brochure. Alternatively, head to the southeast corner of the island where a green GPS point of interest marks a cave beside a large lake. Keep in mind that this location requires a maintenance keycard to access. With sharks lurking in the ocean, getting the pistol from the raft might be a better option.
