This is a guide for Resident Evil 4 Remake All Chapter 1 Collectibles. It includes all 15 Collectible Locations in the order they appear, ensuring that you don’t miss a single one. You’ll find everything you need to achieve 100% completion, including Castellans, Merchant Requests, Recipes, Weapons, Weapon Parts, and Chapter-Specific Trophies & Achievements.
Collectible Progress carries over to New Game Plus, except for Treasures. Unfortunately, there’s no Chapter Select or Free-Roam once you’ve completed the story. However, you can collect any missing items during a New Game Plus playthrough. Keep in mind that all Treasures must be found in a single playthrough to unlock their trophies. Also, some items can only be obtained in later chapters when you have the required key items.
To keep track of your progress, use the Challenges Menu. Additionally, you can buy the treasure map from the merchant to see Treasure Progress on the world map. It’s best to collect everything during your first visit to an area, as some areas become inaccessible as you progress through the story.
Resident Evil 4 Remake All Chapter 1 Collectibles
#1 W-870 Shotgun (Weapon)
Once you encounter a chainsaw-wielding enemy in the Village Square, head over to the big house on the left. Inside, you’ll find a shotgun hanging on the wall upstairs.
#2 Velvet Blue (Treasure)
There is a treasure near the W-870 Shotgun, head to the right and use your knife to slash the window until it shatters. Climb through the window to reach the rooftop, then turn right to locate the treasure on the roof.
#3 Ruby (Treasure)
When you first encounter a chainsaw-wielding enemy in the village, head towards the last shed on the left before the gate where the chainsaw enemy appeared. You’ll find the item you’re looking for inside that shed.
#4 Pearl Pendant (Treasure)
When you reach the Farm, head to the left side and locate the silver container hanging off the windmill. Try to shoot it when it’s not above the well to avoid getting the treasure dirty. This will enable you to sell it for more money later, but it will count as a Collectible either way.
#5 Destroy the Blue Medallions (Merchant Request)
As you near the end of the Farm area, you’ll come across a closed gate. Before proceeding, make sure to pick up the blue leaflet on the wall next to it. To complete this request, you must shoot the 5 Blue Medallions located throughout the Farm area (locations listed below). Once you’ve done so, you’ll receive a reward of 3x Spinel, which can be traded for items at the merchant.
#6 Blue Medallion 1
While in the Farm area, look for a building that has a typewriter save point in it. You’ll find the item you’re looking for hanging on the corner of that building. Shoot it to destroy it and obtain the item.
#7 Blue Medallion 2
While in the Farm area, head inside the barn where the cows are kept to find the collectible you’re looking for. You can shoot it through the window or from inside the barn to obtain it.
#8 Blue Medallion 3
On the left side of the Farm, you’ll come across a small hut. The collectible you’re looking for can be found inside that hut.
#9 Blue Medallion 4
While in the Farm area, head towards the big barn on the right. The collectible you’re looking for can be obtained by shooting it through the upstairs window of that barn.
#10 Blue Medallion 5
To find the collectible in the right corner of the Farm, head to the right of the Shrine and stand beside the fence. You can shoot the collectible through the fence, which is hanging from a balcony on the windmill.
#11 Flagon (Treasure)
To find the treasure chest located behind the wooden fence, climb up the windmill and then jump down onto the balcony on the side of the windmill. From there, you can get behind the wooden fence below and make your way to the end where the treasure chest is located.
#12 Ruby (Treasure)
Once you’ve picked up the Flagon, shoot the lock on the door to enter the big barn. You’ll find the Ruby collectible in the corner of the room, along with the Kitchen Knife and Wooden Cog which are also located in the same room.
#13 Wooden Cog (Key Item) & #14 Kitchen Knife (Weapon)
You can find both the Kitchen Knife and Wooden Cog in the same room where the previous Ruby collectible was located. These items are needed to climb back up the windmill and use the Cog on the wall there to open the gate.
#15 Castellan 1
In the “Lakeside Settlement” area of the game, which is the next big area after encountering the dynamite throwers, you’ll come across a house in the middle where a dynamite thrower is located. The Castellan collectible is sitting on the broken roof of that house. You can climb into the house through the window and then look up at the roof from inside to find it. The Castellan also makes a distinct sound, so you can listen for it as well.
